    Computer question

Once my computer boots the USB ports and everything connected seem to no longer work. They work on the boot up screen as I can go into bios but once windows starts loading nothing works. Is this a windows is issue? Or some thing else? It seems everything plugged into the motherboard just stops, no eithernet either. It all pops up as normal once windows boots I just can't do anything.

What, just right click my computer > manage > device manager, see if you have a bunch of question marks.

I wonder if you can go into safe mode and do a sys restore? If not repair. Last resort is fresh install.

I recall having a similar problem when I installed my OEM W7 64 bit, my keyboard and mouse worked on the log on screen, but as soon as I went into the computer, stopped working. If this is a new install of the OS, trying re-installing the OS, worked for me.

you can't type anything or you cant move the cursor to something where you can type?
see if you can use the windows key to get to device manager....
If not, then try to get a restore disc.

Could install an old PS/2 PCI card and see if that works. Then find out what device manager says ?_?
