Magic skills and interrupts

So, Im having this argument with someone in my shell who is insistent on saying that the higher skill you have doesn't effect interrupt rates. Which as far as I knew, was common knowledge. Now, unless Im wrong, I know they do, but can someone show me testing, so I may prove to him HE's wrong. Apparently me going and showing him on BLU and RDM that skill will effect interrupt didnt change his mind, even after my blu casting 200+ spells on me while being hit by a campaign mob and not getting stopped once during casting, compared to my every time when I casted phalanx while on blu then vice versa on rdm with enhancing magic he still doesn't believe it. I really just want to show him he's wrong. The biggest the argues is "level difference" factoring in, though Im sure that doesnt apply to campaign mobs.

it does factor in. nothing DC or below can interrupt me summoning an avatar unless they get a crit hit usually. This wasn't the case when my Summoning magic was lower level tho.
I dont have any proof sadly but it don't matter your ls member is an idiot

Can also say this is the case for me on SMN and BLU but I never looked at how strong the enemy was. I tend to summon in all summoning magic skill gear if I know I'll get hit for whatever reason.

Thats kind of the arguement he was getting at with me, that his blm capped ele skill max merited always get interrupted even if its for 1 damage through a SS, but I know for a fact my blu can cast through getting hit so.
