But seriously as usual people are blowing this WAY out of proportion. Playing with one of my co-workers new iphone 4 it only seems to be effected by this if you hold it in a very particular way so that your finger shorts out the antenna across the little black piece of insulating plastic.

Should have never been made that way? Yes

Yeah given the choice I would prefer a fixed version. I wonder if they will decide to adjust the antenna. It would probably be easy to put a clear acrylic coating on the outside so the metal antenna isn't exposed.

It'd probably help if you weren't fucking horrible at sarcasm. That's Satire, at best, and even then the 2 situations don't compare at all (holding it properly and not cutting a hand off vs holding it properly and losing signal).
