A 16-year-old Australian boy, Casey Heynes, who has been picked on his entire life for his weight, finally had enough when another kid started punching him in the face, and his WWE-worthy response was captured on video and posted to YouTube and Facebook, where kudos and support for the way he fought back have been pouring in.

According to a Facebook posting, Heynes was suspended from school for the incident. There is no word on whether or not the bully was punished for his role in the fight.

Kudos to him and shame to the school for suspending him.

I reluctantly have to agree with the majority that applaud this sort of behavior. I see where you're coming from but children don't think rationally, parents feel it isn't on them to shun bad behavior and good kids get caught in the middle.

For far too long we've been content with telling children to simply man up and walk away. While I agree with that statement for a conflict in public (especially as you get older), in school you really have no choice but to either defend yourself or make yourself the target of what may be years of torment. You're gonna see the bully daily, what will you do? Pretend he isn't there? lol

If you tell the teacher, you come off as tattler which when the teacher is away could set you up for a beating.

If you tell your parents, what can they do? Demand the bully be thrown out of school? Odds are bullies parents won't give a shit and your child is still stuck holding the bag.

You really have no choice but to either defend yourself or subject yourself to what may seem like eternal torment. Kudos to this kid for showing the bully that there are consequences for messing with "easy target". I bet he'll think twice the next time he decides to fuck with someone for no reason.
