    iPad, iPod, iPhone Wireless Chargers

Going to China in 9 days, wondering if anyone has had experience with these types of chargers. Need to buy a few so I do not have to worry about my family or I losing power over a 17-20 hour flight seeing how we will want to listen to music and surf the web while up in the sky.

They suck, but do work. Why do you need a wireless charger?

Yeah, I assumed they are pretty bad. Don't think the airplane will have hook ups for laptops/mp3 players to where you could charge them up like you are at home.

Don't have a lot of experience with overseas travel so I could be wrong?

Wireless chargers are not magic, they still need a power source.

If you say so. If you can't charge your devices with their normal chargers, then you won't be able to use a wireless one either. I can't imagine why you would think otherwise.

You'd probably be interested in something like this http://www.amazon.com/Duracell-Insta...3418337&sr=8-3

Cheap and should be enough to stretch out your battery over a long flight. I'd buy one for each device if I were you. Maybe 2 for the iPad since it tends to suck down power pretty quick when running video. I know you mentioned the web but not all flights let you have an internet connection during the flight... have some local storage movies just in case!

When I flew Delta to the UK I had like 3 outlets available.

every international flight i've been on has had at least one outlet per seat. however, domestic flights have been about 50/50 depending on the length of the flight.

edit: also, if you look on your itinerary, it may have the type of plane you'll be flying on. you could probably google and find out if the particular model you're flying in will have outlets or not.

This is a little more money and not a wireless changer, but I love this thing. Charged my iPad 2 51% to 98% while I was gaming on it. (Really not sure if that is good because I have nothing to compare to, but I was surprised it lasted that long)

Really depends on the Airline/class. Business Class, and airliners with a very new fleet like Emirates, Singapore almost always has them.

Didn't really have a problem with my phone dying on the flight, surprisingly could listen to 12+ hours of music on it and it still had plenty of juice left.

Thanks for the recommendations though :D
