New Smn Avatar enmity

Hello, I'm very new to the forums. I am an old vet smn player who started in 05. I took a two year hiatus in 2010 and now I'm back. My question is with the new enmity changes of VE and CE, can I no longer solo as I used to before w/ my avatars? I tried to solo an NM in aby that I've solo'd many times before and I easily get hate. I've read and tried to understand the changes of VE and CE but can someone break down to me as I feel like a noob now lol. Will SMN ever be able to solo as it once did or is change now for more of permanent group role?

Basically the dmg your avatar takes will destroy the hate it builds with it's dmg outside of abyssea. Inside shouldn't be as big a problem with the greater amount of dmg you can deal and dmg you can mitigate is insane with proper atmas. They rechanged things today but if you play careful the only thing you should be doing to get yourself any hate is bping which they came out saying was almost no hate so shouldn't be a problem if you play carefully
