I had a rare form of mononucleosis when I was young, started at 15, didnt end till I was close to 20, shit sucked. During that time my grandfather really helped keep me going, make sure I ate, drank, actually woke up, he was my guide in the darkness of no energy, constant fevers, all that crazy shit. His cancer that he had beaten once before decided it was time for him to go and within 2 weeks he was gone. It practically broke me and I was already without hope, having been sick for 2 years at that point, life just kept rolling nat 20s on my sick ass. I almost gave up a few times but I stuck with it and survived and I keep his memory alive as best I can. Miss him every day, he kept the family together a lot through tough times and made it rise better during good ones.
