Even though they mentioned it, Seven should have been top 5.

Im gonna have to agree with their #1

Not a bad list I agree with most on there. I'm suprised the Sixth Sense was not on there.
Well it does warn you right at the start that there's spoilers and tells you not to read it if you haven't seen the movie.
Yeah, when I think of good endings.. I think of Fight Club and Se7en.
im just joking heheOriginally Posted by Tape
i most likely wont watch them anyway :D

I thought Full Metal Jacket had a pretty powerful ending, too, but I guess the article only like the twisty, 'omg' endings and not events that climax after 30 minutes of tension.
Still, nothing says 'omg' for an ending quite like:

I swear to god nothing on that list of 50 films comes close to the 'what the fuck' factor of that movie's ending. Peter Greenaway has given me nightmares quite unlike any other director ever.
I definately agree with #1... but Fight Club as #2.... the ending in the book was a thousand times better. I would have probably put Memento for #2 as well... I'd even put American Psycho up there over a few of the bottom ones >.>
American History X has a good ending but twisted ending too
liked some on there. Wish they have found a way to squeeze Devil's Advocate, Fallen, Seven, and Primal Fear. All had great endings with a twist.
Also only one Hitchcock movie seemed to make it in there which is a bit surprising. I would have put Rear Window or Psycho over the Birds...
Se7en came straight to mind when I saw the topic of this thread.
Blair Witch should have been higher, that ending was nuts. Dr.Strangelove ending sucked, IMO.
Boondock Saints also has a great ending in my opinion. Nothing you'd expect.
No Demolition Man??
The Others? ;;
Yeah, that movie had an awesome ending... that was actually really original. This list kinda sucks lol.The Others?
I agree with their #1, dr.strangelove was possibly the best movie, ever
edit: kinda off topic but house of D was a really good movie too, I'm surprized that didnt make the list tbh, its better then blair bitch projects
