    * It is possible to give orders (i.e. sprint ahead, come from behind, etc) to riders before the race.

    While posting your comments onto the forum, we would appreciate any ideas related to "gambling" for example, as well as any other opinions or concerns regarding Chocobo Racing.

    We look forward to hearing from you on the forums. Let's keep those ideas rolling!

    Lag, hax, bot and other thing would cause too many problem if you could get control over your chocobo.

    Wonder if we'll be able to place bets with odds just like in FFVII and you'd get to win special Rare/Ex items, that would be sweet.

    let's hope the L1+L2+R1+R2 trick works (or was it only R1+R2?)

    The fact that you dont control them is awesome. I was really hoping it would be like that. As long as it's fun and the rewards are good people will do them.

    I'm ready to bet up to 500gil only 2 items from the pool will be good, the rest will consist of downgrade, or useful stuff like "Digging ring. Enchantment: less fatigue"

    Wait wait wait.. the .dats and maps were already in game for the chocobo racing / stadium.. Why are they saying now that they are going to implement some sort of racing. They make it sound like they never considered racing chobies till now.

    They don't need to be uber-powerful endgame gear. Having a digging ring like that would actually be a great reward if the effect was good.

    Expecting something like a Black Ridill Belt from Chocobo Racing would be stupid. Getting cool looking gear that made you look like some kind of hillbilly chocobo breeding Tarutaru, or items to enhance Chocobo-related activities (IE, enhance racing, breeding, and digging. Maybe even run speed!), would be geat.

    That's how I understood it at first and commented in the original post, but after rereading, I think they just meant they receive a lot of feedback about the whole chocobo thing.

    Obviously, this is just bs and they just want to make it sound like they listen to people when in fact, they have everything planned.

    Nah, they are going to keep the endgame items for the Colliseum(sp).

    I can't wait for that :D go go FFVI Colliseum!

    Idea for Chocobo Racing prizes:

    Prize: Chocobo Whistle
    Effect: Calls your chocobo instantly while being outside.

    that would be sweet

    I say let the guy who made limbus up. And maybe the mission designer, these toau missions are lame compared to CoP missions.

    I think if you speed your internal clock up, you might still be able to make your chocobo go as fast as you desire regardless of if it's npc controlled or not.. with programs like Speeder XP and stuff, you might see some people running a tad bit faster than you :wink:
