    SL Perdu Weapons, 6/12 update findings

    Haven't seen any data/confirmations yet, so let's post them here. I got Blade (which will probably be the most popular choice) but it'd be great to see some WARs/gswordDRKs/RNGs and lolstaff meleers post.

    Perdu Blade: <100tp latent condition confirmed. +5acc, +10atk when latent is active.

    Perdu Voulge: <100tp latent condition confirmed. +5acc +10atk when latent is active.

    Perdu Voulge, +5acc +10atk (too little for a 2 hander), like the blade. Looks exactly like a leucos voulge (shit sucks). Otherwise still good damage and an overall great g.axe. Not much else to say really.

    I'm a bit suprised the voulge is only +10 atk; sickle is +14. I guess the tradeoff is the higher D.

    Am I crazy or will the delay/dmg on the Perdu Blade not be worth it if you're MHing a 227? Either that or I'm going to have to find a reason to buy a Unji or something w.

    Tempted to get the great axe to replace Byakko Axe, but 48k IS is a lot. I think I will wait for rank 10 item before buying anything

    The added attack and accuracy from the offhand also affects main hand hits (correct?), making it worth it. The 30 or 40 less delay takes off about half a second between attack rounds (a little less because of haste modifiers, so maybe cuts off 1/3 of a second).

    We're already at the 9th rank... I wonder how many ranks in total there will be. Rank 10 CP item costs 56k of CP. Same can probably be said for rank 10 mercenary. Didn't someone do some digging and found that there are more ranks? Does that mean potentially higher cost ISP items?

    The items have been getting better and better. I wonder what new stuff is gonna be next.

    There's a firesale on unjis atm, lol. I haven't been a 75 nin for too long so I can't say whether 2 low delay katanas wins over mainhanding Senji, but the speed looks attractive. I'm just glad I was able to get rid of my fudo >.>

    kaylia: no kidding. I got a perdu sickle last update and now blade, and I don't like buying coins off the ah, so I'm down to 5k IS atm. Oh I also got a Shark Gun at some point for no good reason too. I guess I just have more motivation to merit my ass off in hopes of some sweet 1st Lt. items.

    I find it hard to believe that 8 Dmg, 5 Acc, 10 Att will outweigh Tp Bonus for Great Axe.

    Assuming for a second that Raging Rush had like, Crit TP mods and therefore didn't suck (ooh, or maybe +Double Attack TP mod O.o) then this would be one sweet ungodly mother of an axe.

    As it is, Martial Bhuj for spam of any sort, significantly higher WS dmg > slightly lower DoT, but this is a sweet axe for 300 Tping.

    If it was as pretty as the Perdu Sickle, I would get it for fashion, as is, meh.

    Least the Blade is sweet, wonder why it's just 10 Att instead of 14.

    With acc/atk, I wouldnt really be surprised if it's better than Martial...dunno, doubt I will ever parse g.axe again. Either way, the only situation where I would use a g.axe is for epeen Steel cyclone, where TP doesnt really matter (getting 200 or 300 wont change a thing)

    Yeah, I've 50k IS atm, and dont really feel like getting another 50k merit in the event Square enix give nice Rank10 item. Chance is they wont be good, but we can hope.

    Difference between both axe before wasn't that big anyway, and 8DMG/5acc/10atk is still a huge upgrade

    Raging Rush isn't that good @100%TP, at least no where near as good as guillotine so I doubt 5ACC and 10ATK is gonna substantially change Raging Rush.

    It's still a good g.axe for those ppl that can't afford a martial bhuj. It costs a hefty amount of ISP, but it's essentially free. Exp, do some besieged, and assaults, and anyone can get one.
    But yeah, I got one because I had 170k ISP sitting around, and I'm a big g.axe fan even if it isn't used often.

    Anyway, played around with it in nyzul assault just now... it's pretty fun and per hit wise was good numers (160-210). Raging rush, like it's usual self, fluctuated between 400 to 950. My friend on WAR/NIN was of course busting out 1100+ rampages. Granted I don't have the best gear but... SE changed the WS mod on eviceration. If SE want to encourage more g.axe usage (this g.axe is a good step) or rather entice less war/nin whoring, change the damage mods on raging rush!



    Btw, I don't think we'll get much response from DRKs or RNGs on the other perdu weapons. From inspection the g.swd is pretty decent, but it's trying to compete with subduer and algol. There's no way +5acc +10atk can compete with subduer's 6% crit, 1 more dmg, and slightly less delay. And I don't think RNGs ever use shortbows/any crossbows except obow (or machine in limited cases).

    The GS is 'okay' at best. From my own playing around, you might as well get a Martial GS if you haven't gotten Algol yet... The TP bonus on Spinning Slash or Ground Strike will far outweigh Subduer and Perdu Sword DoT... Hell, I bet you'd see very little difference between a Balin's sword (go go 4k!), Perdu Sword and Subduer really. I know I only bust out GS when I need to SATA someone, so WS are what concerns me. On normal mobs, Scythe will serve me well (and if they really suck I'll just use axe/sword haha)

    The new x-bow is great for soloing I guess lol. Seems mainly thieves will enjoy it and make great use of it. RNG have much better weapons

    The Great axe is a nice replacement for Byakkos. Of course, you can't say no to TP bonus Steel Cyclone...
