Firefox Problem

My family, in fitting fashion, have once again displayed their retardedness. I don't know how they fuck up their computer so much, the first thing they must do when they get on is search, "Virus to fuck up everything on my computer" in google and click the first link. I'm literally having to undo their fuckery every single time I get on their computer, which is every chance I get, since my computer blows. What cruel fate is laughing at the irony of monkeys sitting before a grand piece of technology while one such as I with so much potential has to utilize a piece of hardware that remembers the days Jesus walked the Earth?

Well anyways, there's this great big space between the taskbar and the actual stuff in the firefox browser and it's annoying as shit. How do I revert it back to normal?

i dont even know wtf that bar is called, so i dont know how to fix it =/ and as that has never happened to me i cant even give a suggestion =/

ok its the status bar, still not finding anything =/ nothing in about:config about status bar size
you can turn it off, View > uncheck Status bar
havent found a thing about resizing it though
are you sure its not some addon they installed? Tools > Addons, then uninstall shit you dont need

I was gonna say, it looked like a plugin that allows you to monitor some sort of chatlog or news board or something. I've run into stuff like that in the past, but usually on IE. Glad you got it resolved.

Oh, and I know how you feel. I am the fix-anything-that-goes-wrong-with-a-computer person in the family and sometimes that crap just drives me nuts.
