So I was dragged out by my brother to go see Doomsday (It's actually pretty good. It's REALLY violent and action-packed)
They showed this kick-ass trailer for a new thriller movie called "The Strangers".... it actually scared me a bit >.>

i saw doomsday too (pretty much never seen a more ridiculous movie in my life) and i agree: the strangers trailer was pretty creepy.

i guess it was based on true events or something?

Looks like the same premise as 'the hills have eyes' minus mutant retards.

Not really freaky or anything, just typical summer horror movie about some fags who got gutted in the woods, I'll probably catch it on torrent but won't pay money for it.

it looks like that movie Vacancy that came out a year or two ago, but in a house instead of a hotel. the part with liv tyler standing in the kitchen and the guy appearing in the doorway was pretty freaky though.

If you are into ultraviolent action films, it's a great movie. I enjoyed it, and it was worth the $10... the only downside to it was that it starred Rhona Mitra, who if you did not know, was a Lara Croft model in the 90s... so basically it stars an E3 Booth Babe.

if you like mad max, zombies, medieval times, car chases, cannibalism, virus outbreaks, completely overdone dramatic music, and an assortment of other completely ridiculous things all compacted into the same movie, then you might.

it's a good movie to see with your friends so you can talk about how ridiculous it was afterward.

I was lucky enough to have the theater all to myself along with my two friends, so we made a Mystery Science Theater 3000 session of the whole Doomsday experience (that did make 'The Strangers' trailer a hell of a lot creepier to us, though). The movie itself was ridiculous, but I like the fact that it never took itself too seriously, so good movie in my opinion. And am I the only one nerdy enough to have called out "DOCTOR FUCKING BASHIR FROM DEEP SPACE 9" when the Prime Minister showed up? Probably. My friends had no idea what I was talking about.

Necrobumping for the sake of not creating a new topic. Saw this tonight. If you have even a mild interest in Horror, go check this out. By far the best horror movie I've ever seen and the first I've felt like was worth my money in a longgggggggggggggg time. Great flick and truly scary.
