Firefox 3.0 RC

Just downloaded it and using it now, looks good, same basic layout with some graphic tweaks. The webpage text looks screwy wherever I go.. kinda pixellated.

Any Mac users happy with it? I'm growing to hate 2.0 because of the severe memory issues. Granted most of them are Flash's fault and not strictly Mozilla's but I'm hoping to hear about any performance improvements or memory footprint numbers people on OSX are seeing.

I remember awhile ago Wafik posted a way to speed up Firefox by messing with some settings. Does that need to be done again?

It's a plugin, and yeah you'll have to download it again unless its automatically transferred over. Regardless though, I don't see the point to using it, as it really hammers the servers of whatever you're connecting to while only loading stuff a few seconds faster.

It was messing with something called pipelining in the about:config. It's still saved with the way you did it in Firefox 2, though.

Also, the memory issue seems to still be there in this version as the last. Using over 100k in my task manager.
