Sooo, ever since I saw this trailer a few months ago, I thought it looked like it would be a sick movie, the trailer they showed in the Superbowl was the same one from awhile back. Thoughts? I think it looks amazing and I can't believe its so far away ;x.

WANTED looked nice, but the trailer I noticed most during the superbowl was Iron Man <3 marvel comic movies.

I'll probably go to see both of them though.

The comic was a pretty interesting story set in a superhero universe where the Villains did away with the Heroes and rule the world. This movie looks like a bastardized version of the comic just like V for Vendetta, League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, The Punisher, etc. etc. In short, This movie is gonna be shit.

For what it's worth, apparently Millar approved of the script. The first 2/3 of the film is supposed to be damn close to the comic, with the last third or so being almost identical, but just in a different locale.

I wish people would stop trying to add their own "spin" to shit and just keep it the way people want it, aka, not ass. Honestly tho, if it's PG13 I have no interest. Who the hell wants to watch a movie where they use Butt insted of ass? nothx

yea, ill list a few examples, dont want to spoil anything so be weary if you read them

protagonist rapes and kills innocent because he can. seriously, this is the GOOD GUY doing this.
there is a character made from 666 samples of shit from the worlds worst people.
a character named johnny two dicks, who has a giant dick that is a super villain.

those are just a few things i could come up with off the top of my head, been a while since i read the series. it might not sound too bad, but when you couple everything involved in the story with the fact that there is basically no positive message, i feel like a direct translation to film would be met with a lot of protest and flack.
