Crafting in WotLK!

How's everyone doing with their professions? Apparently people are having as much trouble as I am with tailoring. If anyone has suggestions on where to grind cloth it would be awesome.

We've had quite a few server firsts, and I've already capped mining. So, basically, cool shit you crafted, or crafting ding/help thread.

I can't decide what prof I should give my DK but skinning and mining is really easy to level on my main.

I've mined 70+ stacks of Saronite in Sholazar but I can fly.

Don't know how you guys are getting that high in the game; hellfire is a complete mess of ganking. I actually racked up 40 kills in one night. I can't level.

On topic, what's the current craft cap?

I just got 400ish mining to 450 in 30mins. This place is awesome.

Sholozar is good for leveling mining. My biggest problem now is going to be getting cyrstalized fire, Ice threaded silk, and frostweave. I have no idea on where to go grind packs of humanoids that drop cloth other than overcrowded places.

shhh not a big secret but... icecrown is #1 spot to mine saronite + titanium, just follow the edges of the zone in 1 big circle !

45min circle is like 16ish stacks of saronite


Also zul'drak is a good place for cobolt, I soorta have the... pathway imprinted in my head on mining nodes... you could get enough to make 360 bars in about an hour 15min.

Hurry before the masses get lv 77+ though... its definitely going to suck as people findout where to actually mine

I got like.... 375 -> 430 JC + BS about same in probably 5-6 hours of mining (since no one else mines)
probably about 80 titanium bars, go go titan steel?

im trying to lvl blacksmithing on my DK and it sucks I want 350 skill before i go to northrend but even with mining which im powerleveling too its still costin me an arm and a leg since i cba to mine up extra

422 tailoring, holy shit, all I can make is blues. I need 19 stacks of frostweave for my next 8 skill points lol.

Thats not bad at all. Tailoring was pretty much the last "realm first" on beta considering its the most.... demanding and lowest drop rate for mats thing ever.

No quick way for it unless you want to spend thousands and thousands of gold on it O_o

That actually makes me feel good, im sitting at 422, I think im the lead tailor in my realm. Did you find any good spots for frostweave in general?

nope... only thing I could think of is try to find an area with dam near instant spawn humanoid mobs (high lvl) and sit and kill them for hours.

I raided alot in beta.. (it reset daily) so between farming for ammo and raiding 10 hours a day I didn't get much of a chance ;/
