FFXI graphics card problem

soo i had a graphics card and all of a sudden the screen would start blinking black so i recently got a new one installed the drivers and tried to load up ffxi and i got a black screen

i turned off the comp and turned it back on and the screen turned black after it loaded up

any advice is apreciated

When you say "loaded up," do you mean when the PC booted, or when Windows started? If you mean when Windows started, have you tried Safe Mode?

something i feel i should mention

last night after i posted this i uninstalled the drivers then reinstalled them and tried to get on ffxi again and it gave me a message cant utilize direct3d please check comp specs

graphics card is a "e-GeForce 6200 graphics card" ddr2 256mb pci
