    Actual Average WS Damage

Well e-peen damage and all is pretty fun to brag about but doesn't really reflect how you perform overall in an experience points party. So I really wondered what people do perform on average (via parser results) so other have a general idea on how they should perform in diffrent setups/jobs.

I usually see all people complain about their WS averages being low at 800 and 900s at Nyzul bird camp, when this in reality is a decent average for a consistent chain there (if everyone in party averages around there).

So just wanted a thread for comparisons sake where you post actual average numbers that people could look at and compare to their own gearsets, songs and rolls and see how/if they can improve them.

This is not an e-peen flinging thread, or at least I don't want it to be one, its a thread about comparison and actual numbers so people can see what is considered good and what they should feel comfortable with themselves.

If someone thinks this is a bad idea just shoot me down and lock this thread up and I'll stay quiet in my corner over here.

On birds, I usually average ~1000 with RR. Haven't merited on WAR in a while though, and I've made some improvements in my gear so it may be even better now. Also need to get KJ -.-

Its nice to get a reply so fast, but 1000 just becomes an arbitrary number if we don't know in which instance this is preform within. Would you be so kind to expend and elaborate on food choice, gear and BRD/COR buffs please so we could get a better baseline for how that damage was performed .

    Thanks in advance.

In my last merit pt on Sam with war roll, stp roll and had a brd but didnt have songs up much (pick up brds suck) I averaged in the mid 900 over about 2 hours. In the 800's with no DA proc and about 1300 with using Hagun. Probably would have been up over 1000 avg with minuet on at all times.

    Edit: was eating kabobs

It usually varies on what I'm fighting, the songs, the other DDs, and the playstyle that the other players employ. If they're close fighters and aren't the autorun style that tends to move an enemy, I can usually work really well with a party at the bird camp. If the style is more the type where I'm fighting for the opportunity to just burn my TP before the enemy dies I tend to burn the straight standing WS more like DE or EV.

Since I play THF/NIN usually in Merit parties, the WS/DoT split is usually 40%/60%; the majority of my damage is done via meleeing for TP.

If I'm spamming standing WS, I'll usually average in the high 900s to low 1000s, but that's just in an attempt to burn TP that I just can't wait to position to get rid of. SAM/WAR and WAR/SAM usually force this style if they're upper tier players.

As a decently equipped MNK/NIN under these conditions I would average low 800's Asurans. I also agree that 606 is pretty low, he must have been gimp and not popping kabobs, can't really imagine what else would explain it.

check the accuracy % you can easily tell who is using food. 90% acc, either he has madrigal or is eating sushi. 75% accuracy for the monk is prolly what you get with average monk gear and no food.

Yea forgot about my spoiled 4/5 usukane ass lol. I usually average 88%ish with usu head/hands/shoes x2 toreador's and a black tathlum(this is total average, so focus included). 84.5% according to ffxi-calc w/o focus.

On Samurai I was parsing an average in the mid 900's per Penta with a good, but not "omg" penta set using Love Halberd.

    Madrigal/Minuet.
    Kabobs full time.
Zerk was up as much as possible as well as Warcry. Hasso for probably 80% of them.
No polearm merits, Overwhelm was only 3/5, STR merits were also 3/5.
89% acc over the course of 200 Colibri. (Would have been 91% if I had full-timed Hasso instead of swapping back and fourth.. but MP>1~2% acc ^^)

I've yet to parse my Tomoe but I've seen averages in the high 1300 on some peoples parses.

I personally WAR/SAM at colibri, this parse was with some friends in linkshell earlier today. BRD+COR Marchx2, Chaos and Fighter's I fulltimed Coeurl subs the others didn't use food as far as I could see and the DRG is pretty fresh 75 with not too much fancy gear/merits under her belt yet (and no Drakesbane as of yet).

I mixed King's Justice, Raging Rush pretty evenly and even tossed in a Steel Cyclone here and there just to break the monotomy in exping a little (and see a few diffrent animations).

8 of the fights were against Wivre which caused some of the low damage hits and weaponskills for me as well as everyone else (Demoralizing Roar is really horrible).

The only DD I have for merits is COR/WAR, usually depends on what buffs are up but I'd say I average about 1200 Detos and 1400 Slugs. Dependant on if I'm getting a Minuet and if Berserk is up, DRK is in party, Chaos values, etc...but usually the low end is 800D/1000S, high end is 1700D/2200S. I'm looking to start parsing the next time I merit on COR, more than anything to see how my melee acc is without sushi using various gearsets.

Liquids parses aren't really accurate as far as averages go. (unless fighter's roll doesn't effect DA's in WS?) Why would you use SAM + Fighters roll? (were there two CORs?) COR roll <3

It'd also be nice to know the average number of Weaponskills too. I mean I seen some pretty interesting parses where one guy was doing 700 per WS and the other was doign 800, but the 700 guy was also weaponskilling 20% more often for instance. It's been a long time since I had an actual workign parser, but isn't there a checkbox to show the WS hit/miss ratio?

Good Idea on the OP's end though, I am getting kinda tire of peopel saying "I usually hit for 1,200 RR on birds" or whatever, when their averages tell a different story.

Liquidedust was also partying with the worst DRG in the universe. Subbing WAR and parsing 83% accuracy? Were they naked? LOL

I cheat on WS averages (sub-1100 is disappointing at birds, 2 brd, miths), Rampager is hax for that though, and why I expected Cletine to do well for Drakes.
