Lowman Jailer of Fortitude

Since there's post for the other jailers i thought i'll put the strategy i use to solo to 6man JoFort!!

Jobs that we use: Rdm/nins Blm/nins Sch/nins Smns (magic users)
Required Items: powder boots(only used when pop'ing)
soloable on Rdm/nin

I use powder boots & Spawn then run to the other side of the Arens Area(Ix'Aern Drk Spawn area) On top of ramp i Stand here waiting for JoFort to come close then run towards the start! Once at the Start Cast Dots, Kite use'ing pillers keeping them between u & Him

T3 Thunder/Blizzard Deal around 200resisted - 600Dmg+-(depending onGear)

When Doing this JoFort will be Stuck in Magic reflect mode so always keep shadows up!

If there blms in you party they shld stay near the Zone Nuke>Zone Contuine Make sure they always have shadows up other wise there AM'IIs will kill them :D!

Contuine this till Death!
Fight with: rdm/nin x2 blm/nin x2 take's around 30min to Kill

If that's how you do it, how do his helpers ever lose aggro on you?

I've done this duo many times with a friend, sometimes the helpers were a pain in the ass to lose, sometimes if you got too far ahead of Fort he would lose aggro and start walking back as well.

Easiest thing is to not use Powder Boots as you may get too far ahead of him, with W.Legs just run him to zone, zone and lose hate, if you're with a friend have him outside party and grab it as soon as he goes unclaimed. Helpers should be far enough back where they won't re-aggro once friend has Fort.

When use'ing powder boots if u run past the first lot of Aerns @ Ix'Aern Drk into the room with the gharh, you'll losse his aggro @ the Ix'Aern Drk Room but if you stay on the right by the Ramp you Won't, Untill he catchs up, then carry on running time you get to the hall way with Aerns In it you shld have lost the balls,

Corsairs can solo fortitude by running around one of the circle rooms and spamming ice/thunder shot. The hard part is losing aggro on the Ghrahs.

I come along with my BLU mule to speed things up a bit, but the fight lasts about 20 minutes with the 2 of us. Losing the ghrahs takes about the same amount of time.

Low manning Fortitude is pretty simple:

1) Get a piece of enhanced movement speed gear
2) Go to the bathroom
3) Play keep away while doing damage
4) ???
5) Profit

When I solo this, I just gravity + zone the balls... takes a whole 3-5 minutes depending where the ??? is.

After that, massive snooze fest.

I went to lowman this one day and the Ghrahs popped as Ice Based so I couldn't CS Gravity them. We ended up juggling Fort+Ghrahs between the spawn and the zone a half dozen times (with many deaths) until they were FINALLY far enough away not to re-aggro. Just a warning to those who want to rely on Grav.

Note: They still had Light and Dark based magic, but their TYPE was definitely Ice, and so, were immune to Wind and Ice based spells.

Just pop it and run to the palace zone. Don't touch fort, don't touch the ghrahs, don't touch anything you aggro. Just zone. I've never had it fail this way; Fort is always ready to be pulled cleanly when I zone back in.

Pop, Bio, kite through whole palace and run into any of the circular rooms as soon as the pets lose hate.

This is easily soloable by ANY job with movement enhancing equip.

When duoing , by the time I reach the circular room , which makes one round through the palace , Fort is usually under 60% HP already.

Quick draw kiting JoFort is good fun - Just make sure you have Skadi Feet / Hermes' Gaiters / Wlegs and alot of cards!
