TP in STR gear?

This has always confused me when I would see someone TP'ing in STR gear. An example is the rings. I use the lvl 40 acc rings and swap them in for STR on WS's only. Is there any reason why someone would TP in STR gear? The only thing I can think of is for those who use ranged attacks. Wouldn't it increase your range attack damage? Correct me if I am wrong.

Technically it will increase your melee attack damage as well, but not as pronounced as ranged attacks. Furthermore, unless your accuracy and haste is capped and you have already achieved a 6-hit build (applies to 2handers only) there is absolutely no reason you should TP in STR gear.

Definitely accuracy over STR unless you've got capped accuracy(and that's simply not possible without accuracy gear).

STR rings are WS rings except maybe until Lv. 30-35. Mighty ring would be passable at low levels I suppose.

People are just gimp, plain and simple. You can spot gimp SAM's from a mile away-- from the wyvren helm. Further examination usually shows the sun rings, AF1 legs, and of course the domaru.

Dragoon has native Accuracy Bonus.

But it reaches the cap 22 points-worth of Accuracy gear ahead of other melees. So in some situations, it would be okay for a Dragoon not to wear as much Accuracy.

People tp in STR gear for the same reason people use full af, they are ignorant,dumb,poor,or all three.

I only wear my full STR gear when I'm fighting stupidly low level enemies on a 75 job.

P.S. Lol at the bandwagon Sam, reminds of how it took me 3 hours to convince somebody to sell there Shinsoku for an Onimaru (Onimaru was 100k cheaper at the time as well lol)

Rajas Ring is ok.

If you can obtain one of these I hope you would know not to tp in str gear and that Rajas is acceptable.

Of course Rajas is ok. I'd hardly call it a "STR Ring".

Courage Rings, Sun Rings, Ruby Rings Flame Rings, etc. are what the community calls "STR Rings".

If a DRG caps accuracy they replace an acc ring with a blitz ring or an ace's helm with a walahra turban. Hell, or both, as long as they're capping accuracy.
