In my experiences, I'll have to disagree with Uryuu and say no it doesn't. Usually we have 3 PLD tanks spamming that shit everytime it is up. We never have resist problems when it comes time to stun Fulmination.

Guess we just got really unlucky last night then.

I was spamming SB all the way thru cause of aegis, other two PLD were using SB every now and again. When it came time for fulm, we only stunned about 7-8 before it was resisting. Fully resisted around 5% and chose to do fulm as the next 3 TP moves.

i seem to remember the stun grip forcing him to be functionally 100% immune by a thick skulled melee shortly after the grips were released. take that for what you will.

No, it doesn't build resist from Shield Bash.

You shouldn't use RDM/DRK to Stun Khimaira anyway unless it's a last resort, chances are that's why you're getting resists early. The only fail-safe way is to use DRK or BLM with Jupiter's staff and skill gear.

I bash it to the eternity and it doesn't really build resistance.

We had no RDM/DRK, dunno where you got that. We had two BLM with dark skill gear on.

wow stop suck. khim shouldn't be alive long enough for more than 5-7 fulm's to even try to go off, MAYBE 9 if you get unlucky with tp moves

why would it not build resist to a "stun" - magic or otherwise? Personally ive stunned 50 + of these on rdm/drk and found i don't nee anything special bar a HG staff, haste and a march.

Normally have no more than 3 stunner's as well - and only rly then stuck with the 1st stunner (timers dependant)

That being said ive had maybe 3 days in all that time where resisted me once or twice tops and is long dead before it gets to much more than 5 fulms generally

In my experience Shield Bash doesn't effect it, also a while ago a LS wiped to Khim at around 15% and made it extremely resistant from all the stuns they were randomly throwing at it but Shield Bash still worked

can shield bash fail to stun on a target that's not immune? i've never seen it happen on anything i've bashed, but my pld is 74, so obviously i've never fought anything big or nasty that would actually have a real chance at resisting me if it were possible anyway. i know that head butt can generate stun immunity (blus not thinking and spamming it on ein t3 bosses resulted in an instant death when they hit angry mode) but that can resist for sure, so that could be handled differently.

During a recent Khim my LS fought, I clearly remember RDM/DRKs getting repeatedly resisted from the third or fourth Stun.

Since PLDs have been bashing whenever recast was up and we only had 2 or 3 DDs, making it a pretty long fight, I came to the conclusion that Shield Bash builds resist.
