PC Monitor for Consoles

So I've been looking to get a small 21-22" LCD monitor for the bedroom that we can use as a monitor and as a HDTV for Xbox/PS3. Don't want any built in tuners and crap as I have a HDTV in the living room, just want it for the things above, and monitors come out quite a lot cheaper. But I've never used one for consoles.

I'm looking specifically at this:

Has HDMI input and recommended res of 1920x1080. Should this work fine with just a HDMI cable connected? I know the speakers are low powered and probably sound like crap (there are varying reports on them working) but doesn't bother me too much as long as sound actually comes out of them.

Any other things I should know?

That's the exact model I use for my xbox/ps3. It was my pc monitor but I since got a laptop. Now I can watch TV and game.

HDMI will be fine. Just plug and play, the picture looks beautiful. I have had no problems with the sound quality, but the default volume is kinda loud. I had to turn the sound down to like down to 30%. I would bet that's why people complain about the speakers, they are probably pushing more than the tiny speakers can handle.

The only problem I've had is that is doesn't have any component input. I wanted to play my ps2 on it the other week and found out I wasn't able to.

Yup. Just the one cable takes care of both.
