    Actual Relic information thread?

Didn't mean to make another relic thread but I couldn't find one anywhere.
I wanted a thread about Relic weapons and the potency and proc rate of each weapon.

Like how potent is the additional effects on the weapons. Is the mandau poison stronger then poison 2? Is the kikoku para stronger then para 2?
Whats the highest Barrage dmg you did with yoichinoyumi on 3x dmg proc?
Whats the highest add effect you did with excaliburs HP based add effect on a slashing weak mob?

Whats is the aftermath effect of each weapon? I wanted ppl to post their weapon and all the experiences with the weapon in a certain neat format.

    example:

    I have the

    Apocalypse:
-Additional Effect Blindness is as potent as a flash which is stronger then a traditional blind spell. It procs about X%
-The hidden effect dmg proc is x2 on this weapon. Procs at about 5% for me.
-The highest 2x proc I have ever done was 960 dmg on a non-crit.
-The Highest 2x proc I have gotten on a crit hit was 1100.
    - The weaponskill aftermath from the relic WS gives X% haste and X% drain effect.

    Bravura:
-Additional effect gives evasion down X%. It procs about X%
-The hidden effect proc is 2.5x on this weapon. proc rate X%
-Weaponskill aftermath gives me X% -dmg taken, also lowers the mobs defense.

Yoichinoyumi- my 3x proc does 9k dmg...

    Just post your weapon.
I just wanna basically know some stuff about relics that noone really talks about,
-like how high your hidden proc did damage for (which i can't find anywhere on google or forums.)
    - How potent the additional effect is. Is the poison, blind, choke etc. stronger then the magic spell version.
-And what the aftermath gives from your weapon. Like excalibur WS gives regen but is it a regen 1? regen 3? regen IV?

And to make the thread interesting maybe some screenshots of super dmg procs on a crit hit would be nice.

any type of info instead of the.... "So and so has this weapon"... but doesn't even go to talk about the weapon.

Yeah... except he's asking about Relic weapons which was not only stated in the title but also several times throughout his OP.

While you may be right, he's constantly saying aftermath which automatically makes me think mythic.

I have never heard of relic add effects referred to as aftermaths. I've always heard it referred to as add. effect on the weaponskill pertaining to the weapon (catastrophe drain and haste for Apoc for example) so, I stand corrected I suppose. My apologies.

when i play mandau THF and use MS, i get affect on status bar: Aftermath

    thats what he's talking about.

cata's drain would be an additional affect, haste being its aftermath

    Apocalypse:
-Additional Effect Blindness is somewhere weaker than a blind II, since blind 2 can overwrite it. As for actual potency, i dont know and i doubt anyone is interested. It procs about 10%.
-The hidden effect dmg proc is x2 on this weapon. Procs at about 10% for me. I have this "feeling" that 2H relic procs x2 damage more than 1H's x3
    - The weaponskill aftermath from the relic WS gives 10% haste
    - Weapon skill gives 30-80% HP drain effect. 0% from undead.

ps. i didnt list proc damage because it would make no sense. it varies between monsters and how much att you hav etc

Not to worry really, its no surprise they didn't have room to state aftermath specifically on the weapon itself in the case of relics.

Thanks for clearing that up, then. I was always under the assumption it gave the generic "UP" icon with a description reflecting whatever it modified shown.

The damage bonus 2x/3x apply to WS as well? Can it work on more than one hit in multihit WS?

This was what I had thought as well but neat to know now.

SE only started to pubicly refer to them as "aftermath" when mythics came out. Before then the aftermath effects of the relic weapons were mostly a vodoo "hidden effect" or whatever you want to call it. Unless i'm completly mistaken.

I do know for certain that after mythics came out the relic weapons finally got the status icon for when the aftermath was in effect.

    Amanomurakumo:
-Additional Effect Attack Down is not very potent and I don't notice much of a difference on higher level targets which might suggest it is a static reduction in attack rather than a % but I could be wrong (easily test in ballista but I'm lazy). Proc rate seems about 10% as mentioned on Apoc.
-The hidden damage proc is x2 (as far as I can tell based on melee averages and melee highs) and procs somewhere between 5-10% of the time.
-There is no added effect on the WS itself other than the painfully long animation lock.
-The aftermath on Kaiten is STP +7 which is useless to an optimally geared sam as they will already achieve enough store tp with Usukane Feet and Body.

This thread is about 3-4 years too late.

Not trying to pour salt in any wound, because you admitted your mistake and apologized for it, and that is the right/noble thing to do, but I've seen you go off on others before for "not knowing obvious stuff" and you didn't even know what relic aftermath was.

Just saying maybe next time (hopefully) you will think of this situation before jumping on someones back for not knowing something.

To OP: I have mandau and it does 10HP per tick poison, it procures pretty often, I would GUESS (I have never measured it) about 10% of the time~.

The most I have done on a regular hit (Crit dmg + triple dmg) was 8xx and my highest weaponskill ever was 39xx~

You might want to check other online sources because I think some places can answer your questions already. If you have any Mandau specific questions feel free to ask.

Although your intentions seem good, a lot of the information you're asking for is situational. The highest damage a 2x proc on an Apoc or a 3x proc on barrage will do is dependent on the mob. Our damage calculations are refined enough to show you the max damage on any particular weapon. Something like a 990 non-crit on Apoc can only come from a mob which takes extra damage and/or uses souleater. (If you're interested in max damage in these scenarios there's more than enough SS in the Fapworthy Thread.) Even asking for averages won't help much as buffs/debuffs/mob are going to be different for every person and every scenario~

The blindness on Apoc is nowhere near the potency of Flash. Anyone who told you that is out of their mind -_-. Flash is so powerful a too weak mob will check as high evasion for the first part of it's duration. The Blind is weak, probably around 10-15 accuracy reduction at most. It would be difficult to test. (Would need to use the Coli charm method.)

The Haste from Catastrophe is 102/1024 Equipment Haste. The amount of HP drained varies a bit, but is roughly ~50% of the damage done(+/- 5%).

The reason it's not talked about much is that Relic information has been pouring out in these forums for almost 4+ years now. It would be nice to have one thread which had each the effects of each relic and the testing behind it to confirm. But the information is scattered around in different threads and posts over the years.

As for SS about damage procs, I realli think that should be saved for the fapworthy thread. Saying I was able to do 1118 damage on a normal swing of Apoc is worthless info if it was done on a 1Fl Rampart chigoe =p.

Ditto the Amano stuff, though I would say the 2x procs feel more like 3-5% for me
I keep meaning to test the Attack Down %, but only remember to think about it when I see it proc on someone while I am charmed, and try to get them to look at attack info after it wears. (Seems to be 12.5% from the few times I have been able to get info in this manner, but take that with a grain of salt until it is thoroughly tested in Ballista)

Yoichi: Metric ton of RACC on aftermath - too lazy to test the actual amount, but I have capped Namas ACC with SAM even on most HNM when I am only sitting around 337 RACC in my Namas Build - I would estimate the RACC boost on Namas is ~100, though there's still some debate as to a possible natural racc boost for non-slugwinder WS's that may make up a part of that; since I notice a slight difference in racc between /ra shots on SAM with aftermath up vs. the Namas racc, I am leaning toward there being a natural RACC boost on WS's aside from the Namas RACC (i.e. 30-40 RACC boost on WS, 60-70 RACC boost on Namas); 3x procs depend on mob etc. 3x Barrage is sexy, but don't expect to see it hardly ever - when you do see it, expect to die soon after.

Enmity effect on Namas has been tested, conclusion was that it was static and probably the same enmity as that of a single dispel. Namas is the main draw of the weapon imo & can completely change the way you play SAM & RNG. Might be a given, but you will take full enmity from the skillchain dmg from a Namas close.
