I've had HD quality things run fine, this would hang even when it wasn't buffering and it clearly isn't a high quality video. Even the smaller res had some hangs (though thought much less noticable.)

Personally, I think it's the people who recorded it. The down rate was fine, it never had to buffer, I play higher quality stuff all the time, so the skipping of the video could only be because of the uploader. It isn't the build, since the lower res runs fine (fine enough, anyway).

lagged for me, but the whole thing looked fucking amazing. If the game plays as well as it looks like it does, it'll be a serious contender for the mmo throne (well, not really, but it'll be up there as long as it isn't a huge korean grind fest).

Anyone else notice that during the one on one battles the one guy is hitting for like 60-200 dmg and the other is doing 2 dmg? lol

Yeah, there's probably some mechanic that allows you to do more knockback or something, maybe if you have more VIT & DEF you don't get knocked around like a ragdoll or something?
Hopefully that's what it is... I'm assuming they'd use a weak character to show that stuff off if something like that was the case.

I especially like that dueling system, it almost looks like it's turn-based rather than real time. If I'm right about how it works, that could cut out a lot of 'no fair, I lagged' crap. If they could implement something like that into FFXI, it might actually make PvP good. It would require adjustments to pretty much every ability, but like ballista, they wouldn't necessarily bleed into normal play.

Really liking that Ron race with the weird shit coming out of their backs. I like the weapons combat, but there's just something about breaking bruce lee on someone that you can't get next to.

Lagged for me but worked fine when I fullscreened it. Looks decent but they'll fuck something up and cock up the entire game or it'll, like every other MMO, get boring after a few months.
