What are you plans peoples? We're going to my aunt/uncles for a large BBQ (40+ ppl) and pro fireworks later in the evening. All day event. It's one of the few days where I completely break diet and go crazy for a day!

Went to go get fireworks in pa they had no black cats, no roman candles, or screaming mimis, no lady fingers, fuzz buttles, snicker bombs, church burners, finger blasters, gut busters, zippity do das, or crap flappers, no whistling bungholes, no spleen spliters, whisker biscuits, honkey lighters, hoosker doos, hoosker donts, cherry bombs, nipsy daisers, with or without the scooter stick, or one single whistling kitty chaser.

I am filled with such jealousy. Only time I've mildly seen the fireworks was looking down the river from the 145thSt bridge when they held them on the other side of the island. I've contemplated going downtown to look sometimes, I then remember the horrifyingly huge crowds and settle with watching them on TV.

On topic, probably leaving the TV on in the background with the fireworks show while I read a book or something.

In Texas any and all fireworks are banned, because of the drought. I'm sure people will be shooting their guns in the air instead.
