So i get this e-mail at work from the girls in the office with this question.


There are 7 girls on a bus
Each girl has 7 backpacks
in each backpack, there are 7 big cats
for every big cat there are 7 little cats.

Question: How many legs are there in the bus???


This is NOT a trick question. PM me your answer instead of posting it. I want to see how many people can get this question. It took me 5 min to figure it out as I didn't get it right away.

7 girls = 14 legs
7 girls * 7 = 49 back packs
49 * 7 = 343 large kittens = 1372 legs
343 * 7 = 2401 small kittens = 9604 legs

14 + 1372 + 9604 = 10990

7*2 Legs for the girls
7*7*7*4 legs for the big cats
7*7*7*7*4 legs for the small cats
Sum = 10990

prepositions are fun! obviously 0. (the "straight" answer is 7*2(girls) + 7*7*7*4(small cats) + 7*7*4 (big cats) = 1,582)
