Any date for 24 premier yet?

Sorry I didn't want to derail someone else's thread, but I know there are tons of 24 fans here, and I want to make sure I don't miss the beginning of Season 7.

So is there a date yet, or is still up in the air with the strike situation?

so I guess they won't use those episodes until the strike would end. It should probably return the second it's over though since 8 weeks is more than enough to complete new stuff.

That would be an impossibly quick turnaround time. I'm sure it takes at least 7-8 shoot days per episode - they can't shoot 16 episodes in 12 weeks. They might start up right away though and have a bunch of every-other week pacings though - would be the only way.

This entire time I've been thinking how bad this strike is delaying 24 and such (it should've been a couple episodes in by now...), but then I had a great thought: if the strike delays 24 long enough so that they don't air before the point where the finale would be JUST before the fall lineup premiers, that would be GOLDEN. Non-stop TV all year round.
