Cause maybe its the, !gasp?, Olympics which holds other events in completely different fields? I'm not taking anything away from the guy, he's a tremendous swimmer, but when they're even cutting off boxing matches just to show this guys highlight, then it starts to get annoying as shit.

Track and Field is later on. Swimming is over I believe Saturday, and Gymnastics is over this week as well because they do the Individuals tonight and tomorrow.

Also, Phelps actually has 5 so far. 4x100/4x200 Freestyle Relays, 200m Butterfly, 200m Freestyle, and 400m IM.

And I'm sure there are people out there who don't care about boxing just like you don't care about swimming.

Track and field usually happens later during the games. Swimming is always early on. The Olympics just started so, big surprise here, they're focusing a lot on it. And chances are you're watching American TV, so Phelps will be covered a lot. On top of that, dude's a mutant athlete. You don't see a Carl Lewis or a Mark Spitz every day. Aren't we all past the age of hating things just because idiots like them? Get over it or go back to high school.
