Router Question?

Ok, before i spent my money to buy a new router. i want to confirm that my router is shit.

So if i plug the CAT5 cable from modem to PC, i got internet connection.

If i plug my CAT5 cable to my router, i got the warning with no internet connection with limited activity.

DIR-625: Not working. Reset router 3-4 times. Leave it on for 2-3 hours. The internet connection is back for 10 hours and disconnect for 2-3 hours of time.

WRT54G2 v1: Suffer the same problem.

So does my computer have anything to do with this?

I have Teamviewer.

Try restoring the router to factory defaults and see if that helps

also, if you're using a cable modem, make sure you unplug the power, plug it back in, and let it start up completely before you plug your router in. Cable modems have to manually add new devices after a reboot.
