FFXI Dualboxing Controller Issue

This may be a Windower issue but I usually get good advice faster here, so trying here first...anyways, I used to run 2 sessions without much problems fairly often, but recently I've had an issue where the controller won't change to the session that's focused, it just seems to pick one of the two to attach itself to randomly and changes every now and then when I change between them. The sessions themselves run fine, I just can't really control wtf is going on in them reliably now.

I use the XBox 360 wireless controller adapter, and I use the 3.42.2 Beta Windower version. I'm not sure if it's a controller issue or a Windower issue, this may have started happening when I changed to the newer beta when I was having some crash issues that it fixed. I run Vista 32-bit HP.

Any advice on where to start looking to fix this would be appreciated.

3.42.2 hook.dll does this. Have you tried the older hook? Works fine on my old Vista installation fine. Also just so you know, 3.42.2 will get messy with dualboxing also on 7.

Thanks, I'll try to go back to the older version and see if that fixes it. When I had first started using Spellcast I was having some crash issues that switching to the newer hook fixed, though I also had updated to the new Spellcast beta at the same time which may have been what fixed the crashes. I'll give the old one a shot and see what happens.

Should most definitely work (as its working for me on vista/xp fine). But if you have a problem post back. Kinda interested if it doesn't.
