easy DD-WRT walkthough?

I'd like to flash my WRT54G v8 with dd-wrt firmware but I can't find a good enough walk through that doesn't confuse me. Does anyone here have one or can write up a simple one for me? Thanks.

I did it with my WRT65G v5 router

It may take you a few tries to do it, if this is your main router. I'd suggest you read through it all fully. It took me a few tries, but luckily I was just trying to turn my WRT54G into a wifi receiver for my xbox360
