    Octave Club in einherjar

    Been brainstorming idea's here for zerging einherjar bosses.

    I have kclub btw so im not trying to make a thread to justify me not buying kclub or mkris. Just trying to think about ways to get more 75 drk's into zerging shape if they are dirt poor.

    My question is this.. would it be viable to make a party of say

    75 Drk X 4, 75 RDM or WHM, and 72 BRD.

    Then clear zone normally and when time comes for the NM zerg. level sync to the brd. and do soul voice.. thinking march madrigal because club skill on drk is horrible at 75 as it is.

    Pretty much just wondering on the viability of this.. i.e. does level sync work in einherjar etc.. and would octave club outperform mkris as well.

    Einherjar bosses resist souleater. 5-10 hits and the souleater bonus is null and void basically. Most atleast, to the point of where its not worth going in with this idea.

    Wow, souleater zerg was one of the first strategies we thought up when Einherjar was introduced. We quickly learned we needed bona fide damage - doubling up bards, haste on all DDs, combining Angon, Dia 3, Feint, and good food and meds.

    Well if the whole resisting Souleater thing didn't exist, we'd be golden. Like they all said.

    But yes... rotating double BRDs is the best possible scenario you're going to get damage wise for your DDs.

    Pretty sure only T3 bosses resist Souleater.

    Still, T3 bosses are (pretty much) the only ones that are difficult.

    I know the Marid does too on T1.

    AFAIK all bosses in Ein resist souleater, not just t3.

    Aside from the hurr durr of this post:

    Dual wielding them > kraken > octave > mkris > switch to a different dd job.

    assuming the right songs, etc.

    We had 4ish KC's in my old LS and were initially excited to bring a few DRKs to use them as zergs on the bosses. We soon learned it was fairly pointless and they should just be on SAM or WAR.

    Well thanks for info.. guess if zerging is out of the question.. this idea i had holds no merit.

    It's the smallest of direct upgrades, and it does not take into account the bonuses you can get from /drg and/or the 30 HP shield.

    I'd say MNK/WAR zerg on boss > SAM or WAR, well, provided that you don't die in process.

    I'm not trying to start a pissing contest here, but how does the MNK parse vs SAM or WAR for the rest of the run? SAM and WAR always seemed to come out on top of our parses.

    also inb4 great when there are skeleton waves!
