Monk feet armor

Hey BG, I'm gimping it up with AF2 feet at the moment. Any suggestions as to what I should replace them with?

I'm not 75 MNK, but I'm currently levelling it and have been asking a lot of questions to the MNKs in my linkshell.

From what I understand, Dune Boots are best for TPing. For WS, either Dfeet, Denali, or RSE if you're a taru.

I've never seen any mnk @ high level use anything other than Dune Boots.

They're pretty much the standard.

Mithra RSE too. +3 STR doesn't exactly do a ton on asuran fists, but it sure beats the kick attack bonus that doesn't work on weapon skills.

Imo best order of boots for Asuran Fist would be

Usukane Sune-Ate > Denali Gamashes > Pahluwan Crackows

Then Tabin and misc rse.

Dune boots do indeed turn your kick attacks into hits that hit harder than spharai. Pair them up with kick attack merits and you'll be in amazement why people opt to go in a different route.

Dune boots are basically a dmg +30 weapon for your feet, Spharai are +23 dmg, so yeah.

Depending on my mood, I sometimes use Melee Hose over Byakko's Haidate... but you won't believe how many monks ask "never got haidate, huh?" when I do.... same thing when I wear O. Hat over W. Turban....

For merit fights where the mob dies in 25 seconds, yeah.

Dune boots for meele and since you're hume Marine boots for WS. Win~

Keep fumas around for long period fights/blink tanking.
