Castle O Yagudo double attacking?

I've been on the top floors/around the G3 ??? of Castle Oztroja farming for scrolls and skilling up, and I've noticed that occasionally the BRD, BLM and Yagudo High Priests (the NIN may do this too, I haven't noticed it) will double attack. It got me wondering - is this some benefit the present-day Yagudo get in Castle O when they hold the area in the past, or is there some other explanation?

That makes sense, in a way, but I can't recall any plain old regular beastmen outside of WAR/MNK/NIN/THF types being able to attack more than once per round. If this happens elsewhere, especially mage job beastmen, I haven't come across it in the last 4 years.

Pretty sure they've always had double attack past level 50.

I don't think it's really that mobs "sub" a given job it's more mobs probably have racial traits and obviously racial WSs.

I'm pretty sure there was actual testing and evidence of this, as it was reflected in the attributes and such that the mobs have. Of course HP doesn't follow how our HP grows, but I believe their attributes were proven to.

I don't really remember where to find that info though.

I don't think it's really that mobs "sub" a given job it's more mobs probably have racial traits and obviously racial WSs.

They actually do, their stats and traits reflect it. The jobs you will see when turning a monster into a pankration monster are also consistent with these traits. I've found most mobs to be job/same job, war/job, or job/war. Many mobs you would think to be blms or rdms like corses and some weapons, are in reality war/blm or war/rdm. The schools of magic they can cast are also usually consistent with their jobs, although the tier they have access to for said job levels is not, for instance a war/blm, rdm, or drk mob could have access to tier 4 nukes and the like.

EDIT: When you turn a job/same job mob into a pankration monster, it will show up as job/nosub. There may be some mobs that really don't have subs thou.
