Hmm, it seems legit. I really hope this is indeed effective because from what I read, they will now reset your character to the time before it was hacked. No more GMs saying they "cannot do it".
Can't be real. There's not 23 months in a year.Originally Posted by Infini
Can't be real, that's potentially helpful.
It's about time they enacted a policy like this. Way to go SE, you've managed to finally give a fuck about the player base. That being said, I did like the last bit about "My game data is weird!"
The only thing Square will reset is their policy to help you.
They've left in plenty of little clauses to cover their backs.
EU and JP onry, sorry NA
My urge to kill rose until I changed the url to ff11us. Good show, Sir.Originally Posted by LakshmiToralyn

I sure hope this works for me... 2 years of collecting dynamis currency gone.
And it only took half a year! Yeah, sure they're making progress, but jesus h. christ I've seen molasses run down hill faster when it's below freezing. It wasn't like this required some kind of huge revamp of the underlying game architecture, but from how quickly they make changes to something as benign as a recovery procedure you sure wouldn't know it.![]()
Although it's good to see they're making progress, I can't help but laugh a little whenever I see their diagrams that illustrate simple things.
It's their version of, "bitches love smilies."Originally Posted by nekura

What is Data Revovery?

It's clearly a typo, they meant they were going to Revole the information.
This is the correct answer.Originally Posted by Izzy

God forbid they follow the same format that the rest of the board has been using since conception.
Did anyone else notice the "we'll only do this once" clause? Good to know that if I hack someone, I should just retain information so I can do it again and never be bothered.
Rest of the world isn't it? Not just Europeans. <_< Although I do agree following the format of the boards makes more sense.Originally Posted by Izzy
Doesn't matter anyway.
I noticed that clause, but I would hope anyone who just got their account back would choose a different password the second time around.
REMOVERY!
