I got this laptop about a week ago

here are some of the basics about it
OS: Windows Vista Home Premium
CPU: AMD Turion X2 Ultra ZM-82 2.2G
GPU: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3650 512MB
RAM: 4GB

I'm was pretty happy with it besides the messed up keyboard till I reinstalled FFXI. I've been having issues with the graphics when I log into game. Every 3 seconds my graphics seem to lag out for a split second. I've tried different internet connections, lowering graphics, updating drivers for the card, turning off all of the vista graphics crap but still nothing seems to work

Anyone have any idea what the problem is and if there is any way to fix this?
