So I've been ice/inline skating for about the 6 months consistently ( I have since a young age on and off as well but for recently about 3 hours/week)
I've noticed the last two weeks after my rec hockey games (coincidentally I've been skating a bit harder) my dominant leg is ridiculously sore, and it takes about a week ish to go away. There's no sharp pain, just a dull pain that depending on how I walk, or especially when I'm skating I'll feel it right about here:
Spoiler: show
This may be geared towards people who skate, but do you think it's just my skates are shit? they're the entry level Bauer IX's and the pain seems to be correlated to where the top of the skate connects to my leg.
Regardless of the skate issue, what's the best way to get rid of this? Ice? there's a hot tub at my schools fitness center I can go chill in, but I'm not sure what exactly to do. (Apparently it needs re-iterating, I will go to the doctor when I can, was looking for any input in addition to the fact.)
