New Quests (3/07/07)

Curious if anyone's found any new quests. For now I've only located one:

Three Men and a Closet

Starting NPC: (I need to check online later, but it's the 2 mithras in a corner near the fountain in whitegate)

Talk to the mithras, you'll enter a cutscene. Zone out through the shortcut exit in whitegate into woodlands. Cutscene. Zone back inside, talk to mithras again, go to the teahouse, talk to the blonde bearded hume. Go to the mithra that supplies the quest for the Bibiki Shell. Return to the 2 mithras again, reap your whole reward of 1 bronze piece >_>;

The point of the quest is actually pretty damn funny, I suggest if you have 5 mins, do this.

One of the things I was hoping this update would bring was a continuation to the "Saga of the Skyserpent" quest, since the first part ended rathr abruptly. I tried talking to Rughadjeen, Biyaada, the Tarutaru Bard that gave the original quest, Gadalar, and no luck. I tried Najeleth as well, no luck, and I believe the other Generals were missing (Lv.7 Besieged with like 300 people, we lost some generals) Has anyone found out if there's a sequel to the quest?

This quest is so epic, it's more interesting than the entire storyline addition.

From the vendor, as others have said. One cost about 30K, the other about 70K. Little over 100K for both.

Spikes is the exact same animation as absorb-TP, other than it's black. Bah.

I tried both in Besieged and got horrible results (Drain 2 for 8 HP! 4! And once even 12! Spikes: Got hit for 150, drained 7~!), but Besieged mobs are bad for testing things on.

I tested them on the EP colibri outside of whitegate, drain 2 did 384 hp, spikes was 99% of the time full hp return for every hit, but once in a blue moon would be 50% resisted.

Almost 100% sure it's Bibiki Seashell quest since it involves events from that quest

Very nice, I am assuming that the spikes will be more resistant to IT mobs but still. When you had Spikes up, did it last the full duration of 1 min or did it absorb a certain amount of hp before time was up. Trying to determine what the % to hp of Drk is till it drops. Thanks
