Seeing as this is about phones and no one saw much of my thread in the tech section, (sorry for the minor derail btw) does anyone have/know someone that has a Voyager? How is it? Everything I hear about it is pretty good minus the price tag. I heard that they require you get the internet service with the phone, but idk if that's true, etc.

Trust me hit the link and go read there forums. Those guy live and die for mobile devices. They know the ins and outs of not only the phone but also pricing plans and data packages. I have modded every one of my phones using suggestions from the forums. Such as my cell phone right now can access the internet for free using a WAP proxy. ALso got a free GPS program for my phone and the best thing is I was also able to increase the volume so i can actually hear my ring tones. To top it all off they love cracking phones so you can DL your own created ringtones. Why buy when you can do it for free.

The price is what's holding me back from getting the Voyager. It's not priced competitively with the iPhone at all. Even with the $50 rebate they are offering, and the $100 I get off from Verizon's "new every 2" plan, it will still cost me $199.

Still a rip-off in my opinion.

You can throw it out the window and go pick up a Voyager LG. Best non-iPhone there is outside of the PanTech Duo. The only reason I have the Duo is because Cingular doesn't support the Voyager, and I didn't want to pay $500 for it.
