Should I check them out some time?
Should I check them out some time?
yes and no
Meaning XII is good and XIII is bad? Or both games have good and bad parts?
With how much you trip on shrooms and smoke weed 13 might be funner, at least it was for me. I didn't like the aspect of playing a single player MMORPG with 12, nor did I like how every boss battle was spam everyones quickening rotate a new player in use that quickening, next player, quickening, and repeat until dead or when done haste all your party members and watch the mob die. With 13 it was like look at all the pretty shit going on. I also felt that XIII's battle system was more dynamic with class switching (assuming you didn't just autobattle your way through which is possible for a good portion of the game).
That's really how you played it, isn't it?
Guys I just don't like FF8, all you do is summon Eden and hit the boost button.
Guys I don't like Dragon Age, all you do is cast walking bomb.
I pointed out that in those conditions the battle system is more dynamic, while leaving the possibility for it to be abused. I never stated this is what you shouldn't do although I could understand how someone who doesn't listen may confuse the two as this is spam and the smallest window, is still a window.
I simply didn't like the way XII played it was essentially a single player MMORPG and I felt like the game was a chore rather than entertaining. You know recently playing White Knight Chronicles I see similarities in the two battle systems so if that is your cup of tea go for it. That's just not how the Final Fantasy battle system was in the past, it just seemed like someone took the idea of XI's world and battle system and decided to implement. Not what I expected nor what I enjoyed
maybe I should just post HERP DERP XII IS BIG AND LONERY XIII IZ SHINY AND PRETTY. As that is all most of you would like others to appear that is all you are reading. Rather than an actual contrast or comparison as to why you like the games over the other. But of course not this is spam ;o
Dragon Age 1 was all about walking bomb, Dragon Age 2 was about kiting running away from the battle to the nearest choke point and placing melee in front while mages in battle. I beat it on Hard first playthrough and second I tried Hardcore (or nightmare I can't remember). I couldn't deal with hardcore as my warriors kept using some AOE ability and killing one another so all of nightmare was trying to avoid my melees from automatically running to the nearest mob at the same time and trying to use abilities killing my party. Or just normal swinging and hitting them as well because iirc normal melee hits with two handed weapons hit multiple people in range. I actually enjoyed both Dragon Ages though regardless. Just that was my pet peeve, aside from Dragon Age 2 only having 3-4 different dungeon types.
You realize I didn't edit what I pulled from your post at all, right? That's what you posted.
So... explain how that is doing anything like what you just said you did.
LOL
Best part of XIII is not playing it period.
