After taking Auntie's poll and the poll of a fellow classmate and reading some of the responses reading the second poll, I began wondering how many is too many? How many people do you think is too many, do you have a hard cap on how many people you believe you'll sleep with in your lifetime? Do you hold the same standards for your partners or are they much higher (or lower)? Are you more of the "only in a relationship" or lean more towards the "hit-it and quit-it" method?

Confident, but aware of my shortcomings, if that makes any sense. I'm overweight by a decent amount (I could stand to lose 50), so that's something that should be kept in mind. Could, should, and hopefully will change.

That's why I also asked if people have higher/lower standards for their partners i.e. If I sleep with 50 people, they can only sleep with 5~7.

I have 1. My wife has 5-6 including me and I was fine with that when we met. I knew that if I had stuck with the idea of trying to be someone's first I'd just be causing myself to wait longer and longer to meet someone.

Personally, I think any number is fine as long as there's responsibility in protecting yourself and future partners.

The first question seems about as silly as asking how many books are too much to read. If someone enjoys doing something, they should do it (assuming no serious consequences from it, which is not really the case here). However many it takes to make the consequences outweigh the benefit, is too much, as with anything else.

As for the second, that would probably be 0.

It would fall under standards, while racists/ignorant/silly/etc there are people the won't look at a person because of their past. There are a lot of variables that would determine if a person would have sex with another person.
