ninja fix:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Unq8rkD0KVA
Is it possible to tell yet whether Scholar gets haste, like are the old spell .dats updated? It's really kinda expected of a main healer, but I haven't seen anything about that spell yet.
It may have been posted somewhere else (I don' tthink so), but it seems that SCH has most of BLM/WHM spells soon after BLM get same spell.
Weirdly, according to dat in polutils, it doesn't seem that SCH get blink, stoneskin or gravity... Nor do they seem to get Raise 2 (but they have Regen 2)
It may be a problem in the dat though?...
(hope I don't make any mistake reading dats)

Aww damn, no Raise II - there goes the wishful thinking that the whm monopoly on raises would be intruded upon 8)
No gravity or higher raises kinda makes me not want to level Scholar anymore, oh well.
could sub rdm for gravity... scholar/rdm doesnt seem like too bad of an idea... if you can get past the status cure thing.
If it has healing magic, most parties will probably be needing Scholar for main healers. I was more curious if I could sub it on BLM though.Originally Posted by ronin sparthos
Where'd you get the list from before we take that as authentic? Because that list ticks me off and I'm hoping it's wrong.
No raise 2, no haste, no stoneskin...
GJ SE, make a very exciting new concept almost instantly crash and burn. but maybe i'm speaking too soon. Here's hoping i'm wrong
That's kinda....shit-tastic.
:\

Im assuming the lack of tier 4s is because Manifestation allows you to upgrade a tier 3 to tier 4, same goes for the aoe spells.
Yeah Scholar's spell-list is just...-_-
Scholar can heal! Oh wait, RDM please.
It'd be nice if I was proved wrong, but in light of this spell-list...
I remember them casting stoneskin at the festival. That would require /WHM and I remember them having /RDM on all the Scholar but I didnt go so I'm not completely sure.
edit: I posted this assuming it was level 60 but I forget its a presentation so probably 75nvm about the sub thing then XD
Thought I had seen in one of the fan fest screenies that they'd get Tier IV nukes.
Spell list looks very underwhelming at the moment.
The job from the start just looked like a different version of red mage, a job that can heal, nuke and DoT. Its got cure 4, DoT and can land 'potent' weather effects on people in PT - seems like more than what i expected SE to give granted there stance on new jobs.
I wonder if a Thunder3 ga'd will be like thunder3 on every mob or the double dmg like thundaga3
