    Einherjar Wing II advices

    Sorry to start a new topic about this but I found last one a bit umm messy lol

    Well my ls just got access to Wing II and I was wondering if there was something we should be aware of that I didn't notice in the previous thread about the mobs and bosses?

    I didn't find much infos about the bosses so if anyone knows about a special strat I'd love to hear it! Or maybe just zerg it all?

    Not really much different. Differences that I can think of (not 100% sure):

    -New types of mobs/bosses are possible.
    -You can get more than 1 wave of mobs before the Boss spawns.

    Aside from those, you can pretty much use the same strategies you used to clear Tier 1, you just might have to kill more mobs and adapt plans to deal with different types of mobs.

    Wing II mobs and bosses have the same difficulty than wing I, teh different is that you get a lot more than 12. Even more on Wing III, so you strategy must be able to wipe large amount fast.

    A lot of mobs are re-used from Tier 1 (Bats are used in all 3 tiers), and a lot of families come back. They are all mobs you've fought before (I hope) and their moves are common.

    This Wiki will show you all the bosses and mobs you will find.

    Only thing really different between the two tiers is the number of different mobs you can expect, and harder bosses.

    Corse
    Spams -aga3s. His -agas can be interrupted with Stun and can be interrupted by WS's. Other than that, having many people to absorb -agas is a good idea because you most likely won't always get it interrupted (and he's generally pretty weak). Corse can disappear and warp to a random person (having a pet on it will help in tracking it down). Also does single-target Charm.

    Poroggo
    This frog is pretty fun. He does all the same frog moves as you can find in Assault and Salvage and elsewhere. He uses single-target charm early, but after 10% (maybe earlier) he can use an AoE charm. Just have uncharmed people run around aimlessly (if you have crimson or herald's or trotters or skadi, have fun kiting!) He will cast Sleepga, so Poison Pots are needed. He will cast -aga3's, but can be stunned (Can build resist). Water Bomb resets hate, so a tank needs to be ready to pull it off a mage if that's who it goes for.

    Soulflayer
    Will use Magical Shield, which acts exactly like a Rampart. It will only reduce magic damage and can be broken. Enfeebles are uneffected. Will cast -aga3's, but like the Corse, can be interrupted with WS's. Pretty easy boss, just have mages ready to cure melee a lot. I haven't fought this one in a while, so I forget other special moves besides the normal Soulflayer techniques.

    Golem
    Treat this like Ying-Yang. He will split up and both need to be destroyed at about the same time ( it can resummon). Uses normal Golem TP attacks. They both have random hate shifts. It's best to keep them apart when fighting at same time to avoid AoE. Their AoE Bind lasts very long, and is best to remove asap. At low %, I think 10 or 15, it appeared that both Golems would do back-to-back AoEs (Crystal Rain/crystal Rain, or Crystal Weapon/Crystal Rain, etc).

    Dahak
    Uses typical Dahak moves, including Thornsong and Body Slam. Be very wary of Body Slam (stunnable) and rebuff your melee after Nullsong. This one does Chaos Blade (Tier 3 Dahak waves can as well), if it does, be sure to cursna your melee/mages quickly and cure them up. A Chaos Blade followed by an unstunned Body Slam could result in a wipe.
    Nullsong does damage based on the amount of buffs you have on, so I would suggest not rebuffing people after it. It did somewhere in the neighborhood of 700-1k damage to standard-buffed melees.

    Flan
    This Flan has enhanced MAB, where -agas do more damage than typical Flans/BLM mobs. Can cast sleepga, so again Poison Pots needed. I suggest only stunning -ga3's because it will get resistant to stun. At low HP, he'll use a move called Xenoglossia, which lets him cast a tier 4 aga (Thundaga only I think) for huge damage. At this point would be a great time for any PLDs to throw up Rampart.

    I posted a similar guide on a tier 1 thread somewhere on this page, but the same strategies can be used for each wave and boss. Hope this helps you on your adventures.

    As discussed in the ZR thread, this isn't correct information- you don't retain movement+ while charmed.

    My mistake

    Do a guide for Tier3 bosses, I've yet to see anything comprehensive on the KB meteor AI triggers.

    edit: and apparently, despite my personal experience, you DO retain movement speed while charmed.

    I can't comment on Behemoth boss, thank god. I believe the AI chat is still unknown, and what actually causes the meteor is just as unknown (probably random). A lot of the info for Tier 3 was answered in the Tier 3 thread, which is where I would have referenced if I made a guide

    I'll go throw up a similar setup as I did before in the Tier 3 thread. Sitting outside Bahamutv2 alliances is boring.

    Dahak boss in wing 2 can use chaos blade, ruined my souleatering :/

    Still an easy kill though.

    Thanks a lot Jaybar was great info! ^^ Looking foward to go visit Wing II now! Just need to repeat wing I for the ppl who were not there and some other who thought Einhejar was impossible and wanna join now that we proved that it can be easy if well prepared lol

    maybe SE did einherjar easier since the last update? my ls did clear of tierI before update, but with a lot of wipes. Now we have 8 succes in a row (repeating always for ppl who missed runs ).

    Edit2: They did an adjustment a few months back. I think it was involving the HP of things inside.

    The golem boss will resummon the 2nd golem after a certain time if it is left alive too long. I found this out personally--we used all of our power to quickly take out the 2nd golem and shortly after it died the one that was left alive resummoned another golem...that pretty much killed the run right then, but it helped us figure out the proper strategy at least
