Just because it's a shitty idea for Sony doesn't mean it's not a great idea for people who were going to buy a PS3 anyway. $499 and MGS4 makes an 80 gig PS3 cheaper than a 100 gig 360. I think it's worth it.

The only reason why I said it was a shitty idea is because Sony is forfeiting all the profit that they would have seen from MGS4 in an attempt to get more systems out there. This can either save the console or end in epic fail.

This is very true. Anyway sold as well. I don't get it HAcoreRD, what LOL are you talking about? Is it the the constant failure rates of Sony's systems? Or the price you have to pay to play online? I don't know about you guys, but I like depending on my consoles to work for a few years, not weeks or months. If it does break I don't want to talk to some fucking guy from India who doesn't even know what a 360 is, assuring me that it will be "fixed".

It's ok, maybe the PS3 will sit in whitegate and emosell everything in it's bazaar for 1g, and then return not 2 weeks later, blanking out it's name in every screenshot..
